If anyone is more familiar with this equipment than I , please let me know it's function and I'll update the description. 

Mike Baldwin sends - The piece of equipment in picture #8 in Nauticus is an ASROC Position and Firing Direction Indicator.  I never saw it work during the time I wasonboard (71-75). 

Ed Cleary of the USS Coontz sends - If I remember correctly the equipment in question was called a Target Data Indicator or "TDI". It was used during "Condition 1AS" to help bridge personel maintain situational awareness during a ASW engagement. The dials on the face of the unit were continuously updated by inputs from the gyro, CIC and the ASW fire control computer. Together they told you your ships current heading in true degrees, where the target was in relation to your bow (relitve bearing), target range, how the target sees you and what direction your weapons needed to be pointed in order to engage the target.
